MIZLALA is a modern Mediterranean grill in Los Angeles serving house-made falafel, shewarma, kefta, salmon, and fresh vegetable dishes — available as a pita, plate, or salad. The name comes from a Hebrew word meaning "eatery."

MIZLALA was created by Israeli-Japanese chef Danny Elmaleh, who launched the original Sherman Oaks location in 2016.

MIZLALA serves casual Mediterranean fare — think wood-fired meats, house-made falafel, creamy hummus, fresh salads, and vibrant pickles and sauces. Everything is designed for bold flavor and freshness.

MIZLALA is a casual, counter-service restaurant and does not take reservations for regular dining. Large parties can call ahead.

Yes — both pickup and delivery are available for catering orders through the Sycamore and Sherman Oaks locations.

Catering orders are built from customizable trays across starters, mains, sides, and salatim, with sauces available by the pint. Starters include hummus & pita, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and crispy broccoli. Mains include shewarma, falafel, kefta, salmon kebab, pargiyot, schnitzel, and merguez. Sides include MIZLALA salad, mejadra rice, sumac fries, and pickles.

Next-day catering orders must be placed by 5pm the day before. For larger events, earlier is recommended.
